The India-side work for a UAE company

A UAE firm can have an Indian customer, an Indian company, or an Indian owner. Each one pulls a different Indian filing. None of them is a UAE VAT return.

You run a company in the UAE, or you live in India and own one. Someone in India is paying you, you are paying someone in India, or you have an Indian company of your own. The Indian paperwork is separate from the UAE licence, UAE VAT and UAE corporate tax.

Confirm this with a practising CA before you act. The answer depends on the year and your documents.

The short answer

Trust handles the India side: treaty paperwork, withholding, overseas-investment reports, Indian books and Indian questions. UAE VAT, UAE corporate tax and UAE e-invoicing are filed by a UAE-licensed firm. We do not do that UAE filing, and we do not name a firm for you. Pick the India problem below.

Which India filing is actually yours?

Tell us whether India is paying you, you are paying India, or you own a company on either side. A practising CA will point at the filing. No obligation.

What stays in the UAE

UAE VAT, UAE corporate tax, UAE e-invoicing and a UAE trade-licence renewal are UAE filings. Trust does not prepare them. A UAE-licensed firm does. We can still do the Indian return, the Indian withholding papers and the RBI report that sit on the other side of the same group.

What's involved

What the CA actually does

  1. 1

    We name the Indian filing

We match the invoice, the owner or the Indian company to the form that actually applies.

  2. 2

We keep UAE tax with a UAE firm

We do not file UAE VAT or UAE corporate tax. That work goes to a UAE-licensed firm you appoint.

  3. 3

    We prepare the India-side papers

A practising CA prepares the Indian form, the working and the explanation your payer or bank asked for.
